Triaxial Accelerometer for High-Voltage EV Battery and Drive System Testing (HV356A03)

PCB Piezotronics (PCB®) announces the release of the HV356A03, a triaxial ICP® accelerometer designed for vibration measurement on energized high-voltage electric vehicle systems. Built on the proven performance of the 356A Series, the new model incorporates a non-conductive housing rated for direct contact up to 2000 VDC, enabling safe and accurate vibration collection on energized components while protecting staff and measurement equipment from risk of exposure.
The HV356A03 offers a sensitivity of 10 mV/g with a measurement range of 500 g, making it well suited for capturing high-amplitude vibration data in demanding EV applications, including battery, inverter, and drive control testing.
Key Features:
- High-voltage insulation for use up to 2000 VDC
- Compact triaxial ICP® design with minimal mass load
- Stable frequency response and low noise performance
- Customizable integral cable and connector configurations
The HV356A03 provides compact, rugged vibration sensing tailored for EV batteries, inverters, drive systems, and electrified powertrain components, supporting R&D and production validation in next-generation high-voltage platforms.
